Taxation Is Theft

If you've made it to this page due to a tip card I left you:  congrats!  The government will not be getting any of your tip as I left it as a cash gift. 

There are only three ways to acquire wealth in a free society.  The inheritance model occurs when someone gives you wealth.  The economic model occurs when you trade a skill, a talent, an asset, knowledge, sweat, energy, or creativity to a willing buyer.   And the mafia model occurs when a guy with a gun says: “Give me your money or else.”  Which one does the government use?

Everything the government gets, gives, had, has, or promises is ill gotten and welfare - that includes the welfare that benefits you, or that you agree is needed.  It is taken from others and given with condition.  NOTHING is free.  The promise of justice is bait, it only occurs if it benefits the state.  Equality is a false god used to hide the intentions of tyrants.  Voters will, as always, get the government they deserve.  The rest of us, however, are forced to endure it.

I can tell you how your personal brand of welfare (roads, schools, recreation, security, etc...) could be funded without taxation.  But can you tell me how endless wars, a 47-year-old failed war on drugs, militarized police, the highest prison population on the planet, victimless laws, corporate welfare, unnecessary subsidies, bank bailouts, overseas nation building, policing the world, creating, arming, funding, and training terrorist groups in the Middle East, constant spying on Americans would be funded without taxation?

You might think taxation is a good thing for funding aspects necessary for society (re-read the first sentence about your desired welfare) but don't forget it pays for all the undesirable in society, too.

In a free market you would have more options, better options, and competition to keep it that way.
