About:  AJ was married to his wife, Jessica, for thirteen years.  Together they have three children: James (13), Gabrielle (10), and Samantha (8).   He worked a full time job in maintenance at Warren Oil in Tyler, Alabama, until he got sick, and was no longer able to work.  He was also a volunteer firefighter with the Sardis Fire & Rescue.

AJ has had type I diabetes for over twenty years, he was in stage 5 renal failure, and his kidneys had shut down completely.  He was doing hemodialysis, five days a week, 3-1/2 hours a day.  Because nurses are not available to help, Jessica was trained and assisted him, but it was not easy.

AJ was a hard working man with a voluntary heart, who loved his family, and wanted to be able to take care of them, and be of service to his community again.  Sadly, AJ passed away April 13, 2017.  Unfortunately he was just not able to find a kidney in time.

I thank you, on behalf of the family, for every share this page got. Please keep his precious family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
