fishing!   She will have the stamina and energy to make it through the day at work, without having to struggle through the day and just go to bed.  And best of all: she is going to have the energy to ENJOY and PLAY with her grandchildren!

"I have the most wonderful family who lets me know in every way how much I am loved."

Remember, she did not suffer from kidney failure because she was negligent in her health, she had Polycystic Kidney Disease, which she inherited from her father.  She also has two brothers and a sister that have all had transplants - and she could see how much better their lives were with their new kidneys.  She patiently waited for that phone call that she received in April: "Yes I feel extremely blessed. I was expecting a longer wait time.  I've been on the list for 2-1/2 years."

Annette is overjoyed, she is so happy that someone selflessly donated their kidney to her, saving her life so she could continue living a long, healthy, and happy life.  She is also sad that the gentleman who gave her this miracle was not a living donor.   She is thankful to God and to this man, and is keeping his family in prayer - and requests that you do the same.   "God IS good. I am so blessed!  I want everyone to know what God has done for me!!"

It's been a hard fight for Annette as she battled Chronic Kidney Disease.  The disease was relentless, she was finding herself exhausted and unable to fulfill her life's purpose.  A purpose she  believes that is focused on loving humanity and contributing all the good she possibly can toward building a strong, loving community. As a mom of two sons, she is blessed with two wonderful daughters-in-law, three grandsons, and a very spoiled granddaughter.  What's more, she has been married to her wonderful husband for 42-years.

Annette and her family knew this fight wouldn't be easy, but they didn't give up, and she received a phone call on April 22, with the news they had been anxiously waiting on: there is a kidney available!  They went to Atlanta and the surgery went beautifully.

Now, once fully recovered, Annette can get on with the business of planning her retirement plan:  traveling the country with her husband.   And being an  "outdoors person," she'll no longer deal with energy restraint from kidney decline, she can go camping and
